WHY AMI Was Founded

AMI is more than an educational institute, AMI was founded to reform small marketing agencies (SMAs) into professional marketing consultancies. SMAs should be providing the best services available because they have the opportunity to provide personalized services with more care and expertise. Large marketing agencies are like giant factories that provide a templated service to every client. Unfortunately, the current state of small marketing agencies is not much different.

There is a reason why businesses often report negative experiences with marketing companies, because most SMAs are modeled as service providers, not professional consultancies who are positioned to make whatever decision necessary to achieve optimal marketing performance. A service provider makes money off of selling their services, a consultancy makes money off of their ability to provide intelligence and

valuable decision making. Without a professional in-house marketing director or external consultant to manage marketing service providers for a business owner, their chances of making a positive ROI on their marketing spend is dismal.

AMI delivers strategy, structure, education and software all focused on providing the best service possible to the client. Most education and coaching programs for SMAs focus on making the marketing agency money as a first priority and providing the client a quality service as a second priority. Far too many are learning the hard way that there there are no shortcuts when it comes to professional marketing strategy and services. There are no miracle software solutions or 3rd party providers and the client will always need the hand holding and guidance of an elite consultant to execute a marketing strategy that delivers positive ROI marketing results.

Who Founded AMI

AMI as founded by Paul Stinemetz, who also founded Endlessrise Inc. Endlessrise was founded in 2008 and grew to over 350 in-house employees as an outsource provider to over 12,000 marketing agencies world wide. Paul built the world’s largest exclusively BPO marketing operation providing services to resellers such as SEO, social media marketing, reputation marketing, web design, pay per click marketing, software development and local optimization marketing. Endlessrise gave Paul a unique insight into digital marketing agencies world wide, how they are structured and what they are missing.

Paul S.

Paul spent nearly a decade hiring and building operations to fulfill marketing campaigns behind the scenes for marketing agencies. Additionally, he built the software needed for marketing agencies services, checkout processing, marketing audits, consultations, project management, client communication and analytics. Going the extra mile, Paul created all the sales, promotional and marketing materials for those 12,000+ marketing companies to give them as much support as possible. Marketing agencies were also offered complete websites and marketing services for their own marketing companies by Paul. In short, Paul has created every support structure possible that a service vendor can provide for marketing agencies, but it wasn’t enough. The average small marketing agency struggled to maintain a handful of clients, their client retention rates were poor, although SMA profit margins were great.

Paul realized the prevailing lack of structure, education and experience in small digital marketing agencies and in 2016 began building AMI to fill this void. The objective is to provide an industry leading business model and operational structure to small marketing agencies that give them a heart and soul independent of any 3rd party marketing providers. There is only one business model that properly fits the majority of SMAs and this is the consultancy business model. AMI is specifically founded to train SMAs to become elite professional marketing consultancies and not to model themselves exclusively as a “middleman” to resell services.

AMI Board of Advisors

Paul is not alone in his quest to improve the internet marketing industry. An active board of advisers serves as the voice of AMI. The board is comprised of 13 members who have battled through countless vendors and tried every method possible to create the best services possible for their clients. They understand the struggles of white labeling, coming up short on commitments to clients and the lack of proper education and ethics in the industry. Together, the board meets with Paul once a month to discuss and help make decisions on the current education and future vision of AMI. See the complete overview and profiles of the AMI board here.
