About Richard Sink

I’ve been building a social purpose into my client’s operations that is AS important as their economic purpose since 2004. “The bottom line: the most important impact of social media technologies comes from who — and what — they empower, not just the information they exchange.” Harvard Business Review

The challenge is that most businesses find they don’t know which tools or processes to use or how to effectively utilize them. My goals are to generate demand for your business via thoughtful, meaningful, time-tested expertise and fresh ideas that are shared by word-of-mouth and enhanced by influencer outreach, organic SEO and earned media that will drive anticipated results

Why you volunteered to join the AMI board of advisers?

I’ve been in marketing for most of my professional career that now spans more than 30 years. I have seen just about everything anyone can expect from marketing practices. And while the horizon is constantly changing, there will always be a need for those of us who maintain that our customers are ultimately who we listen to and are held accountable to.

Joining this Board of Advisers enables me to create new partnerships. Partnerships that require something of us. For them to succeed, we have to give as much as – or more than – we get. The successful marketing strategies I’ve seen are both cooperative and collaborative, internal and external. I’m talking about partners who, like a true friend on their best days, make each other better. As Jeff Bezos says, “Life’s too short to hang out with people who aren’t resourceful.”

My goal is to continue to be a valuable “go-to” resource for other marketers who are challenged by today’s better practices
